Better to Know is a sexual health resource website for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, containing information on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and how to get tested.
Although Better to Know is not specifically a men’s health site, however it provides an important function for men’s health – the removal of stigma by delivering sexual health information to Aboriginal men and boys in an accessible way.
Topics covered on the Better to Know include:
- List of STI’s in a drop-down format- including signs and symptoms, where to be tested and prevention strategies.
- How to notify a partner of a positive result.
- How to schedule reminders for re-testing or a check-up.
