It’s fair to say that 2025 has been a year of significant growth as men from all walks of life engage with the Real Men’s Health approach to health information delivery.
When I launched Real Men’s Health about 18-months ago, it was in response to men and women making two specific requests:
- Produce a single online site which delivers a broad range of physical, psychological, social and sexual health information backed by health professionals who are experts in their respective fields.
- Present health content in a format which is easy and enjoyable to read.
In a world of online misinformation, fake news and agenda driven content, I’m pleased to say that Real Men’s Health is beginning to deliver on what was requested.
A few stats on Real Men’s Health across 2025:
- 30 online articles were published.
- 8 articles were published on men’s genitourinary cancers, including prostate and testicular cancer.
- 6 articles were written specifically on fatherhood, including a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dads.
- 5 men’s health support groups were profiled.
- Real Men’s Health was included as a parental resource by the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
